He’s a stuntman, and like everyone in the stunt community, he gets blown up, shot, crashed, thrown through windows and dropped from the highest of heights, all for our entertainment. And now, fresh off an almost career-ending accident, this working-class hero has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job. What could possibly go right?

Flashier and more fun the trailer, the worse the movie. This might be a turkey cause the promos are great.

I'm a little suspicious the more I think about it;in a pessimistic mood today. They delayed the wide release by two months.

Emily Blunt's movie with the Rock also had exciting trailers and that was lackluster. I have a feeling all the action in the movie is already showcased and the bulk of the film will be long dull talking scenes lacking in chemistry between the leads, hence the focusing on the snarky jokes and one-liners in the teasers. Romantic flicks like hinge entirely on chemistry. I also get a sense of repetitive dialog. Like endless putdowns from her toward him, rinse and repeat. That kind of thing is enjoyable in a two minute trailer but wears thin in a two hour film.

This was also shot a while ago, before Barbie exploded, and i'm mildly concerned that stud machine Gosling maybe doesn't feature quite as extensively in the film as is implied.

Regardless, they clearly spent a ton of money on this and it should look absolutely gangbusters in the cinema.

Honestly, for a movie about a stuntman, there's not much in the way of action. Unless they're hiding it for the theatrical release.
