Liked it More on 2nd Viewing

I liked Avatar 2 a lot the 1st time I saw it, so I went and saw it again. I think I enjoyed my 2nd viewing even more than the 1st, because I was 100% invested in the characters throughout the whole move this time, instead of having to slowly become attached to them. I was also eagerly anticipating certain moments in the film, and that anticipation added to my enjoyment.

Yes, the film has a lot of flaws. The plot is not as tightly woven as the original, and there are some odd story beats (Where do all the water people go during the climactic fight?? Why isn't Quaritch eviscerated once he falls in the water??), but I love the rest of the movie so much I'm willing to overlook these flaws.

I'll definitely try to get a 3rd viewing in at some point.
