It's a silly movie but the visuals are stunning.

Extravagant costumes, extravagant cgi. Fun to watch on Netflix; glad I didn't spend any money in a theater on it.

It looks good sure, but it was too talky (a Waschowski trope I know but dialed up to eleven here). And the characters weren't interesting unless they just gave out really bad lines (like whenever Balem shouted something off or that weird bit about loving dogs by Kunis).

Yeah, it's amazing how many speeches the characters can make while still not saying much. It remains pretty murky just what the 3 siblings' true motives are. (Well, Balem's are clear, but the other 2 aren't.)

reply

It's something that spilled over from serial drama shows like Lost or Game of Thrones where everyone is hiding something. So the dialogue is extra evasive and motivations become vaguer than usual for certain blockbusters because some idiot behind-the-scenes thinks it's being complex or highbrow.

The visuals and set designs are among the best I've seen and the rest of the movie ain't too shabby either.

Not a fan of either of the leads, but they both did a good job as did the rest of the cast. This movie easily deserves a 7-8/10 IMO. Entertaining and re-watchable.

should have been more sillier more fun. like 5th element. and not planned as a trilogy.
