I Just Purchased This On Blu Ray

And I'm watching it right now after going to the Gym.. Sometimes,, I wonder if it would've been smarter to stay with the plane wreckage instead of venturing off further into the unknown AND the wolf encounters?? Still, this was worth $8.00 on Blu Ray

reply

just lol at you idiot buying movies when you can just torrent them

reply

Nothing wrong with Physical Media asshole because if you're internet is down?? You're not streaming shit. Think about that

reply

just lol at your stupidity boomer. you really think i pay for streaming? lol.

reply

Well, I suppose when you have no job and live in your parents basement and can't afford shit, downloading on torrent is all you have I suppose.. Very sad from where I'm sitting Zoomer

I think there's still a place for Blu Ray, especially with real movie buffs, because of all the extras that tend to come with it. I think the deleted scenes (and definitely the Director's Commentary) would be especially cool for this particular movie.

reply

Which is my next question: If and when you've ever purchased the movies on Blu Ray, do you watch the Extras and the Director's Commentary or the Deleted Scenes or none of it at all?? I'm always of the notion the scenes that are deleted are deleted for a reason, but still interesting to watch??

reply

For me, I definitely like to check out all those extras--if I'm a fan of the original movie. For example, Mel Gibson's Director's Commentary for Braveheart was great!
I think deleed scenes are often interesting, and many times the fact that they were cut from the movie was simply to reign the runtime in.

The Grey would be a really good Director's Commentary because it would be cool to get Carnahan's insight on the use of the wolves as an allegory.

reply

I wanted to get Carnahan's insight on why he advertised this movie to make it look like Liam Neeson was going toe to toe with this Wolf, only to cut away from it at the end with the credits rolling up the screen?? And if you were patient enough and not totally angry at that, the movie comes on after the credits showing Neeson lying against the wolf motionless with the wolf slowly breathing.. Show the fucking fight Joe!!
