Times when Ricky is wrong

There have been a few times Ricky has been wrong and Karl is right. One of those is when Karl asked what the creatures are called in Gremlins, he did of course mean what is their real name, and that is Mogwai, I think only the film was called Gremlins rather than the creatures official name.

Secondly I use a steady noise to help me sleep, and it does work. I need a fan or some sort of steady noise to help me sleep. It does work where as Ricky says it doesn't.

There have been many other times too. Any you can think of ?

In defense of Ricky, there are a few times where he'll say, "I actually do agree with Karl on that one."

Yes! There was a Through the Wormhole episode with a scientist describing the extra sense of knowing when someone is watching you. Ricky "poo pooed" the idea when Karl brought it up.

There are many more senses yeah, but not the nonsense one Karl came out with.

the fact that you can only find few isolated incidents where Ricky was wrong, and feel the need to exploit them, says more about the person finding the errors than about Ricky making them. there isn't one human being on earth that isn't wrong sometimes, and most people make many more obvious mindless mistakes than Ricky ever does. so the obsessive need to isolate and exploit his few minor mistakes is just a testament to how he is rarely wrong or your examples wouldn't be so miniscule and far-between. oh and its a comedy show, lively up.

Ummm...The whole point of the show is that Ricky is ridiculing nearly everything that comes out of Karl's mouth. So how is ridiculing Ricky when he says something stupid any different?

There was an episode where Karl wonders if people think in their accents, where both Ricky and Steve laugh pretty bad at the concept. I think Karl did an okay job explaining what he meant, but Karl and Steve simply didn't get it. Ricky said that people don't think in sentences but abstract thoughts. This is true, but it's also true that you DO think in sentences. This is especially so if you are just thinking to yourself while not in a conversation. You could easily be "talking to yourself" in your inside voice (called the subvocal voice). I also believe people do talk in the accent in their subvocal head, but can easily change it (for example, if you try to think in an Indian accent you might do a good job, but try it for real and it might be hard). However I'm not 100% sure about that as it's a while since I read about it in psychology.

In any case, both Ricky and Steve misunderstood and thought Karl was talking to himself literally whenever he thinks and dismissed the idea of a subvocal voice. But that's wrong.

there was one monkey story that Karl was talking about where a monkey was trying to have sex with its owner. There's obviously more to it than that but the story is true. Ricky easily dismissed it but thats because Karl can never explain himself properly or remember where is heard the information. Awesome show though.
