There have been a few times Ricky has been wrong and Karl is right. One of those is when Karl asked what the creatures are called in Gremlins, he did of course mean what is their real name, and that is Mogwai, I think only the film was called Gremlins rather than the creatures official name.

Secondly I use a steady noise to help me sleep, and it does work. I need a fan or some sort of steady noise to help me sleep. It does work where as Ricky says it doesn't.

There have been many other times too. Any you can think of ?

When Karl ponders 'who controls the brain' (E02S04 'Onion'), he's actually talking about things that philosophers have talked about for ages, up to and including modern cognitive theorists who're looking for AI breakthroughs, e.g., Marvin Minsky.

Ricky is not as smart as he think he is. To be honest he started to annoy me more and more in this show. I suppose its a role, but mostly he just seems to think for some reason thats he is intelligent and from that he have a lot of opinions and semi scientific views (he think his very updated in science and thats hilarious). I like Merchant and Pilkington though. I think Karl is more intelligent than Ricki since he at least have different approach, in a way its better to know less and try to understand things from a novel perspective, than be a little informed and not understand the big picture (his the most cockiest person Ive ever heard and he knows less than most people I know but he will still acts like he understand nearly every issue and his very often very wrong).
