Boring, confusing and overhyped: Missed opportunity to tell this great story.

Even with $100M budget, it was a huge ask to coherently tell a long story about Nuclear science to a very mixed worldwide audience who may not even have heard of this guy.

I thought Cillian was a boring lead with no gravitas, it should have been filmed chronologically with clearer flashbacks, if any, and why not either have an opening 60 second narration (Films like A Bridge Too Far and Gladiator did) or clips of US fleets/frontline troops to give it scale and context?

It tried to do too many things. And instead of glibly saying it halfway through, why not end the gloomy topic with his famous warning ("I am become death...")??
