Last line hit me like a train. I felt sick to my stomach!

As past, present and future are intertwined, when he revealed that he had destroyed the world, I believed him. I felt physically sick when he said this. Tears filled my eyes.

Once as a child, I was sick and was delirious. I perceived myself as the world, and somehow I had destroyed the world. I was screaming with guilt, "I've destroyed the world."

My mother ran me a bath to cool me down.

This line brought me back to that harrowing emotion...destroying the world.
