didnt make sense but that was the rule. what happened

probably because she was the US president and he didn't want 2 go John W booth or something.

Everyone expected that the president is the queen, but she proved, that she has nothing to do with the scheme. Thus her son was the queen, the one who drove everything - the one to die.

I think they said the reason bees kill the queen is not because she herself did anything wrong, but because her offspring were defective. That was the theory anyway.

I didn't interpret this literally, only the classic you have to go to the top, if something is wrong on a lower level.
