Slow and forgettable like the part one

I remember almost nothing from part one and I'm struggling two days now to finish part two, I give it 6/10 as a whole, it sucked horse, it cuts the action for character development, then some action again then cuts again. I wonder who votes that high such a borefest of a movie

I was bothered by other stuff than that. But frankly, if you can get past the awesome spacecraft and well-done CGI, the films are not actually that impressive. Even Paul riding the giant worm wasn't nearly as impressive as seeing the Fremen use them for long-distance travel. The Paul in the '84 film did it better.

I must admit that I'm not a fan of space fantasy, I don't like star wars, star trek, battlestar galactica and such, although I have watched many of those films... Perhaps I should just stop watching and therefore stop complaining about them, they are for nerds and I'm not one. I should be more cautious when it has high rating and it is space fantasy

Yeah, it is long and slow, full of subtitles, might as well be a foreign film. I already spent 2 days on it, still couldn't finish it.

The fremen used the future version of RPG was kind of funny though.

I didn't see any industrial plants, where did they get the weapons and all the equipment? Aren't they supposed to be primitive people believing in living messiahs?

Subtitles doesn't bother me, I watch with subs even the English parts (I'm not native). Plot holes in the story was the least of the problems of this movie, barely saved by the good CGI

Completely agree. Here people were saying how part 2 had so much more action and more fun to watch. Nope, part 2 is just as much as a confusing bore fest as part 1, pass.

Part one was a very good movie, a good start.
And then all went south
