I kinda figured this would happen.

I'm not surprised or disappointed. The iron has grown too cold for a film.

I'm basically bored with the whole franchise ....but I'm still up to find out what kept Rick away from his family for all those years.

The iron has dipped to sub-zero tempeture for the entire franchise to keep churning out all these spin-offs/sequals. That could be why Melissa McBride dropped out of her spin-off. She realized it was just more of the same lather-rinse-repeat crap.

I wish that instead of never-ending spin-offs, they'd combine them into just being a 12th final and awesome season of the original show.

Unfortunately, given this shows track record the past few seasons, that would mean an entire season of disconnected, boring, & pretentious bottle episodes. Probably.

(Off topic: this is my 666th post on MC!!!!!) 👿

I'd heard that Rick was returning in the final six episodes of the series after the failure of the proposed films?

There are reports of him being seen in Atlanta w/ Norman Reedus when they were filming the final episodes. So more than likely he will be in it at the end; probably Michonne too.

reply

I hope so as it would be a good ending for him to reappear as Rick in the final episode!
