The tower. Did I miss something?

So Hilltop gets over run, they re-group at some shack. No one there, then they find a dead Earl and the children somewhere else. Alden and Aaron are hiding in the windmill and the rest are suddenly holed up in some hospital? I feel like a large chunk is missing. They've just got this hospital really close by and they've never mentioned it before/used it as an outpost? So weird.

You want sensible plot and logic? Fuck you and your logic! - Show runners, probably.

^this. but anyway, regarding the OP, this show is so crappy that i've already forgotten most of the finale. but another thought just occurred to me regarding the post by brux, below - this show is like trump and his maga hat mouth-breathers. the people who love it will ALWAYS love it (i know a few, i suspect they wear the red hats in private) and we detractors are the ones going "wait, they did what?!" or "wait, you realize that idiot trump broke the law, right?!"

They realized about 5 years back that no matter what they do, people keep on watching and saying it's great - so they don't seem to care much about anything making sense. The whole Whisperers is ridiculous and makes no sense at all. Who would spend their whole day stumbling around like a zombie knowing that if they make the slightest mistake they will be jumped on, killed at eaten by zombies who must be incredibly revolting and stinking by now. Megan was bad enough, but there is no point to this show any longer.

Indeed. It's such a shame as a zombie apocalypse is so ripe for excellent storytelling and they've absolutely wasted the opportunity and pissed it all away.
