I wish they made more sweet comedies that are raunchy and irreverent. Along with No Hard Feelings, this is a recent gem that pulls no punches with language and content.
Definitely not for kids, and when movies are for grown-ups they should bring it on like this one did.
Loved Foxx and Ferrell's depictions, and Will Forte as the scumbag owner.
Good comedies are rare, and this one was rare well done.
It was actually very fun movie. R-rated language was a little too far. But still and a good buddy-comedy. And everyone even got happy ending which I didnt expect.
And I kinda felt sorry for Will Forte character. Like he wasnt monster. Or villain. He didnt deserve his dick to be chopped off. I axpected after credict cene to show that he is in hospital but will recover. But no. Dick is off. Thats way too harsh on that character.
He didnt want to have a dog but had to take care of him. Like dog was fed and had a home. H didnt kill him when he finally didnt want to had a dog. He was just driving away and leaving him. That whole ending was a bit too harsh on him. They should have teach him a lesson and then took off. Without mutilating him.
Maybe character was written way shittier but since Will Forte is cool and nice dude he acted him warmer that he was suppose to be. If other actor was playing him then we would probably hate him.
Usually animals who talk like humans don't attract me.
