I'm not impressed with JLC coming back yet again...

You’re not alone on this - far from it! It appears quite a few people on this board predictably feel the same way as you (golly gee, that’s surprising coming from the internet).

But it’s the opposite for me. I unapologetically look forward to this new Halloween and especially the return of badass JLC. I hope it more than lives up to the original. So I’m not with the cool older crowd by having this opinion... Oh well.

I agree with you...A cameo would have been succificient.

I don’t like the fact that Laurie is acting like she is Dirty Harry from Haddonfield.

I I just hope this is the last time. Not to say I want the character dead, but I wouldn't mind seeing the series either end or go in a new direction for another film. We need to end the original storyline at this point. I love the series and all, and I have high expectations for this one after the trailers, but we need to end this run. I'm happy to have one more go at this timeline, for sure, but we need to end it.
