when do u think we will get a teaser?
i will say prob end of the summer :(
and i bet the teaser will have the closet scene from the first as a flashback.

June is my safest bet for a full trailer. But a simple teaser? You never know, one could drop in March or April. Since they need to spark interest, debuting any footage from the film a month or two before it comes out doesn’t sound like a good strategy. So a teaser can come sooner than expected while a trailer will likely be released sometime during early - or the middle of - summer.
And if the teaser shows footage from the original, the iconic closet scene could likely be shown. But I can also see the very opening scene with young Michael being shown. And if not, I expect it to be reminiscent of the first.
Um for horror movies they usually release it two months prior to release ..April/may is way to early

So two months prior, huh? ;) Maybe for most horror movies, but the Halloween franchise is a different beast.
Though March and April were of course way too early, these days movie teasers (including those for iconic Horror franchises) can drop at any moment. Now, if Jason Blum’s words mean what a few articles out there think they mean, then we should expect the first trailer for Halloween soon (and it’s in June just like I previously mentioned).
After the footage that was shown at CinemaCon received so much buzz, it seems like a good idea to start hyping up this movie already. And why not? This is Michael Myers we’re talking about.
