That would be 1822 for now. Though the film was 1991 which would be 1791. Then the original book was in the 70s, which would make it the 1770s.

I think he was rounding up, if you are immortal a few decades don't really matter.

Encounter with a Turd Pile has no interest in accurately depicting the source material. The "Louis" in this version has nothing in common with Anne Rice's version except the name.
