That would be 1822 for now. Though the film was 1991 which would be 1791. Then the original book was in the 70s, which would make it the 1770s.

Encounter with a Turd Pile has no interest in accurately depicting the source material. The "Louis" in this version has nothing in common with Anne Rice's version except the name.
