Movie looks like the love-child of Frankenweenie and Boxtrolls.
Ok, maybe not *that* ugly, but it looks like it's going to be pretty surreal (new trailer was released last week). The Blue Fairy especially, looks like someone I wouldn't want to see in my bedroom at night.
Guillermo del Toro was the big hint. I'm down for it.
shareI read the original Italian book when I was a kid, and it's nothing like the Disney movie. I don't remember the details, but it was creepy and Pinocchio himself was the sort of bad kid who needed slapping into shape.
