My oh my this movie stunk...

I'm a Gibson fan. But this movie stunk. Bad acting. Flat. Stupid. Far fetched. Predicable. Didn't really have a point. Maybe the worst Mel Gibson movie ever.

That is surprising to hear.
Even if Mel were to phone in a performance (ok, pun intended), I would think he'd still be quite good in any movie.
He's just always great.

Where is it available to view?

reply

It's on Prime. Yea I like Mel in just about everything but he was really flat in this one. Was a real let down. Maybe you will have better luck with it.

There are some positive comments from people who say they've seen the movie for the trailer on YT, so maybe if you're a Mel fan you'll like it anyway. I intend to check it out despite the largely poor reviews.

I don't think even Daniel Day-Lewis could've come off looking good in this part. Gibson, in particular, wasn't too bad considering what he had to work with. You could see his natural charisma and likable personality shine through here and there; sadly, though, he was stuck spitting out subpar dialogue, in the company of not-so-great actors, and was chained into playing out the plot of a shitty script.
