The plays are always terrible

I mean....they are.

I love theater on tv as much as the next guy, but these are also just good for laughs.

It might be bad, but I'm still going to check it out and give it a chance.

Nice to see you are still putting up the good fight my man. :)

I like them, some more than others.

Beats crap like "The Bachelor" et al.

I ALREADY OWN LIKE 5 VERSIONS OF ANNIE ON DVD...THERE IS NO WAY ON EARTH I COULD BE EXCITED FOR THIS VERSION...IT LOOKS KIND OF BAD TOO.

reply

I own 2 versions of Annie, the 1982 one on dvd and the 2014 one on blu ray. I'm still looking forward to checking this one out.

The Peter Pan show was a travesty and a disgrace.

The first one of these recent live productions was Sound of Music with a horribly miscast Carrie Underwood. People were tuning in just to hate watch.

reply

Thats the fun of it

I think the only one I didn't despise was Grease. I think that was just a strong dislike. The worst was probably the Rocky Horror one. I couldn't even finish that one.

The Wiz Live got nicer reviews than most of these. Unfortunately, it got pre-empted by that mass shooting in San Bernardino and wasn't aired at its scheduled time in much of the US.
