Was decent story until it went the horror route in act 3. They had a good thing when it was an ambiguous difference of opinions and a clash of lifestyle choices, parenting etc. I could not recommend it.

Not sure what you mean; one couple are normal parents while the other couple are kidnappers and murderers so it's not what i would call simply a difference of opinions and parenting...
For me the ending was not horror, it was more like shocking drama.
