I remember when cartoons were predominantly for kids. For some stupid reason, my generation thought that they had to make this for adults. Sorry guys, but cartoons really suck now because we forgot that the next generation was the target audience, not ourselves.
shareI'm Gen X, and my cartoon affinity resides in my past. Sure, I can sit down and rewatch some of the stuff I was fond of as a kid, but like you I don't get grown adults being fans of animation.
It's just different today because I see Millennials and Zillennials with Manga stickers on their cars while they drive to work. Being an adult and Cosplayiing as a furry or Spiderman is cool and financially lucrative as opposed to 40 years ago.
