The box office numbers are nuts. Took another 8 mil on monday. Looks like it has legs.

You must not have watched any other horror movies.
This movie was very lame; it wasn't scary at all... I didn't see any horror in it.
I am a huge Stephen King fan but this movie, which he was not involved in, really SUCKS.

I give it a 7/10. Much better than the second half of the 1990 miniseries, but not as good as the first half with the childhood part. Something about a small town from the late 50s/early 60s is a lot scarier than a small town from the late 80s. I still think Tim Curry was a better Pennywise because he looked more like an innocent clown, thus making IT scarier.
Seriously, some of you haters need to grow up! If you didn't like the film, fine. But you don't have to shove your hatred for this film, down our fucking throats. I thought these forums were for fans only, not fucking trolls and haters.
madnessssss, you are embarrassing yourself, please understand that. You are a board troll of the most common sort, and the only reason you are here is to stir up trouble. And I suppose we should all hope that is the case, because otherwise you are just an annoying 12 year old brat who genuinely thinks this IS scary, while it's really just a kids' horror film. And that's okay, because if this is scary to you and you enjoy it, then good for you. The fact is, opinions differ, and they're not all going to match yours. Sorry for the reality check. We can all form an opinion without you, and we don't all have to agree on what movies are scary. We all like movies for different reasons. That's why these boards exist. For open, respectable discussion.
