Just saw it...People will probably hate it due to marketing

I actually did not think it was a terrible film. It was just another example of miss-marketing a movie. The trailer made it seem like it was an all out horror film and it is definitely not. More along the lines of a drama tacking serious issues with psychological horror put it more toward the end of the movie. I do not put a lot of faith in CinemaScore, but I see the movie getting a best a D+. It will divide people, the same way It Comes At Night did.

This post almost made me not want to go. As people should know by now - what you see in an A24 trailer is usually A LOT different from the film.

I didn't feel like that was the case with this movie. It felt like horror/dread throughout. The last 20 minutes was pure horror, albeit weird and surrealist imagery.

Well. I do not want to discourage anyone from going to a movie they find intriguing through the trailer. I am just advising people to remind themselves that the trailer in my opinion was marketing solely on the last 20 minutes. The movie has a feeling of dread on uneasiness, but the trailer is trying to convince the viewer it is shocking horror throughout the entire running time and that is clearly not the case. Whenever I see an A24 movie showing it usually goes to the top of my must see list. So far I have not seen a movie from their catalogue that I did not like, but this movie would define6ley be at the bottom.

No. I really wanted to but it was not playing anywhere around me. I eventually found a theatre that was playing it at a very inconvenient time. I was planning on doing a double feature that day of watching Lamb and Titane. I was only able to see Titane (if you haven't seen it, you should as it is an excellent movie). The next week I tried to go the movie was already gone. How is it? I have been trying to find it on Redbox, but no one seems to be carrying it.

The reason I ask is because compared to Men, the trailer is even more misleading in my opinion.

Lamb was pretty much a really boring drama.
