I don't understand the hate. Yes, it has SWJ wokeness but that is the world we live in now. Miranda's storyline is the only one not working for me. Her sudden awkwardness with race and the way she treats her son. The writers did her character dirty. The funeral should have been Samantha's with the storyline involving an unresolved fight Carrie had over firing her as her publicist. The show reminds me of the first SATC movie and that is a good thing.
shareI actually agree with you. I saw the first two episodes when they were dropped last Thursday and liked them. The next day I read all the scathing reviews. I agree that the Miranda storyline is terrible. No way would a mom who lets her kid have his girlfriend over for the night, get all angry at him for taking a puff of A LEGAL SUBSTANCE!! She might tell him to stop. But the way she went ballistic was off the mark.
