...has become absolutely mind-numbing. Seriously, I had to stop reading all the comments on this page; it's unreal how stupid everyone has become.

Whether you loved this or not (I'm somewhere in between), nobody seems to get that it's not meant to be taken seriously, it's a spoof of these types of movies. Whether you think it's funny or not is irrelevant! People are calling things like her having a lot of frozen peas or making casseroles at odd hours "plot holes." The last one I read said how the little girl would never have been left alone with the cannibal serial killer. My God.

Sign of the times, and of humanity's future. Scary. Although for years now people having been woefully misusing the phrase "plot hole".

If it's supposed to be a spoof but the majority of people aren't finding it a funny then isn't it a fail?

reply

Is it supposed to be funny? I think it's a bit humurous and theatrical, reminds me of 80s crime shows, murder she wrote maybe

Idk I'm just going off of what the OP said

And yet, is a deliberate plot hole not a plot hole still?

IKR?!?! That alone is quite hilarious, if it wasn't so sad. I loved this series. Someone on IMdB gave it 1 star and said they had to turn it off after they revealed how the daughter died. I mean, it's your daughter's "Take your child to work day" and the dad who is a forensic psychiatrist for the FBI specialising in serial killers takes you to the prison and sits you in the interview room with Massacre Mike should have given you the clue that this is a spoof/parody.

I guess they went back to watching reruns of 19 Kids and Counting because they thought the series was liberal or something.... lol. These people have no sense of humor.
