Has the always expanding and expansive MCU written itself into a corner?

And during most of its life it has been outflanked and infiltrated by both HYDRA and now Skrulls.

Will Marvel address this "issue"? Clearly Fury used and manipulated the Skrulls, but were the Skrulls also using and manipulating Fury the way HYDRA was using him, for their own gains?

Within the MCU:
Asgardians are on Midgard.
Skrulls are on Earth.
The Kree have been to Earth.
The Ravagers have been to Earth.
Celestials have pooped on Earth, so has Ego.
Frost Giants have been to Earth? ☑️

Vampires and Demons are on the way to Earth also. Via Blade.

If you're asking whether the plot devices have gotten too "out there," I'd say no, they've eased into it gradually

If the concern is that the plots points have overcomplicated things, I'd normally say yet, but Feige & co. keep surprising me

I'd say, if anything, the MCU will fail because of audience fatigue, not because of conflicting or overly convoluted plots. The powers that be seem more dedicated to consistency and less prone to "winging it" than any other showrunners I can think of

I enjoy the layered, convoluted, and complicated pseudo-meticulously (after-the-fact) plotted Long-Form story telling of the MCU. 👍🤣

It appears that each attempt to retrofit brings a whole set of character quirks, behaviors, and or actions that have to be acted out or just forgiven.

Is Tony Stark an accidental hero or a victim of his own hubris, (an unintentional Villian) in hindsight. Tony is responsible for birthing Wanda, Pietro, Vision, Whiplash, AIM (Aldritch Killian) and Extremis, Obidiah Stain, etc....

Thor and Asgard were to be the protectors of the Nine Realms, including Midgard (Earth) and now are running Bed & Breakfasts in Norway. And the other Eight Realms are F.U.B.A.R.ed??!!

I like my MCU and I like that all of this chaos has created a Power-Vaccuum that will be filled by Dark Avengers or THUNDERBOLTS?? But how do you keep something like this focused for audiences to stay engaged?

I will concede fatigue, but my gut tells me the masses are overwhelmed and can no longer connect.
