The daughter will one up him in whatever they are doing in whichever scene they are in at the time, bla bla bla ad nauseum. I was done with that shit years ago.

I love the premise of the show, kind of a loose sequel to True Lies. What kills the show for me is how everything has to be funny these days. Joke joke joke joke joke joke joke. A little seasoning with one liners is always a delight, but every single character is just launching one zinger after another. It's ludicrous. The actress doesn't bother me, but yeah, the daughter character is hella annoying. I mean first we're introduced to her beating the tar out of a man. But least he was a small dude. But then we get steam rolled with a clunky block of exposition that she's greatest super agent that ever aced all the tests ever. Like oh my god. Aside all that they're doing that annoying thing where they cram 50 songs into an episode so it sounds like somebody just skipping across the radio dial the whole time.
shareDidn't True Lies also have funny in it? Think it was a slice of romantic comedy with live action. Yeah, It wouldn't be Arny without iconic one liners he's done throughout his movies that have become classic memes.
shareWasn't a single other song in the rest of the episodes. The whole production calmed down a great deal. They only ruined the premiere ep.
