Facebook was only 6 years old at the time and really only ''three years old'' in terms of mainstream popularity in 2010. It was still a youth website in many ways and the older folks using it was a novelty. It's strange how a movie was released about a site that was so green.

The movie was nothing more and nothing less than an advertisement to lure people to the site.

You think so? It didn't exactly make Zuckerberg look good, nor did the book the film was based on.
