2 thumbs down

I've gotten to where I really dislike ambiguous movies. IMO, writers write these types of movies to induce debate and conversation. But first, your movie needs to be good enough to do that. This one wasn't. It was just overly frustrating. Too many unanswered questions and too much vagueness.

I will say that Sarah Snook was beyond incredible. She's very talented. She was the only aspect of this movie (and cinematography) that were outstanding.

agreed. movie was creepy, especially the first half; acting was very good, but then it spiraled into we don't know what really happened or if any of it really happened

reply

Exactly.

reply

What? It's obvious what happened.

Oh I thought this movie was excellent. I normally don't like ambiguous movies either but this one I really enjoyed. The acting was fantastic and the story really held my interest. IMO Alice's spirit definitely befriended and possessed Mia and they both slowly drove Sara insane. I'm not sure if Mia walking off with Alice meant that Sara had killed her, or if she was going to jump off the cliff with Alice and kill herself. I tend to think the latter, which would be Alice's way of punishing her sister. Either way, the ending is very grim.

reply

There was nothing ambiguous in this movie.
