At what point in history is this present day white supremacist getting thrust back to where the African Americans rule and the Whites are enslaved? I must have been home from school ill the day the lesson about that was taught.

It isn't total fiction. But, perhaps this movie is making the premise of it being an alternate America where blacks are the majority and whites are only 13% of the population. Who knows? lol

shareI think it probably started by pure convenience. If that's the case it would be interesting to find writings, like you suggest, that would explain if their dominance, over the years, made them look at these white prisoners as slaves and then purely as inferior beings.

shareKind of like not feeling sorry for a rapist who gets thrown in jail, who also gets a "taste" of his own medicine. But then again, when things go round like that, the line gets blurry between right/wrong and it gets tougher to justify this whole eye-for-eye, karma, revenge thing.
But that's more realistic than the clean cut manichean view of the world that a lot of people find comfort in.

True. But, there does come a time where the punishment is enough. After the rapist gets raped a whole bunch of times, there will come a point where he doesn't deserve it anymore and it wouldn't be fun to laugh at him anymore.
