Why are US chat shows on every night?

From a UK point of view it's a bit strange that Fallon, Kimmel etc are on every night. In the UK we have similar chat shows but they're on once a week, in seasons.

Don't people get bored?
How do they keep decent guests on?

Thanks

Been like that for years too here in Australia. It must be cheap to air them for tv stations or the shows networks pay out a lot to show them. It's definitly not due to popular demand as no one has ever said to me "hey did you catch jimmy fallon last night?"

People do get bored, and these shows aren't very good any more. A couple of decades ago, and before that, they were much better.

Hell yeah we get bored. It ain't like the good old days. Not only is the show on every night, they do the same bits and the same jokes every night, and they have the same guests on over and over again. They're unwatchable. Stopped being a regular watcher after Leno retired and tuned out completely when they all overdosed on TDS.

Because Democrat lemmings need their daily dose of spoon fed propaganda. Otherwise their NPC starts showing.
