The movie was terrible, the lowest point in Mad Max franchise.

I used to think Thunderdome was the lowest point, but... OMG, Furiosa was freaking terrible and boring. I paused the movie many times because I couldn't take it anymore, it bore me to death. I'd play a few Doom levels to wake me up a little bit to keep watching the movie.

You nailed it sonans. I really disliked Thunderdome and was very pleasantly surprised by Fury Road. I didn't think the Mad Max series would survive after Byron Kennedy's death and the tremendous decline that was Thunderdome. Unlike Fury Road, this Max-less Furiosa story was just plain boring. When it comes down to it, Gas Town just isn't a very interesting place to be, nor is Furiosa's story. It doesn't help having fashion models posing as warriors of the wasteland. Hemsworth's performance was memorable only for its contrived hamminess. And even if there were a lot of practical/non-digital effects, it sure didn't look that way. Often the landscape shots looked like cheap CGI. Miller must've conceived of this abomination during peak wokeness a few years ago, a massive miscalculation as demonstrated by it's abysmal failure at the box office. Claims that this was one of the most entertaining films of the year just shows how low the bar is these days.
