shareNo, I hear you man, it's just: we have the cinema we deserve. If people on film boards discussed the artistic merits of films instead of only ever talking about money and politics, maybe we'd become better spectators, we'd have better film critics, and eventually we'd get a better cinema.

shareI can dig that, but for one post discussing the artistic merits (or lack therefor) of a film, I come across ten that are about box office, and twenty that are about politics. These days, people are EXCLUSIVELY interested in what's AROUND cinema and very rarely about cinema itself.
