Very unrealistic plot

Okay. This movie was obviously made to make black women feel better about themselves. The entire plot rarely happens in real life. It is okay to make movies that portray blacks positively, but not if you are going to make the whites in the movie the butt of the jokes as a consequence. I cringed the whole time I watched this. As a white woman, I really don't find black men attractive, and I don't even look as good as the blonde in this. A white woman who looks like that isn't going to waste her time breaking up a successful black family when she can get dates elsewhere.

I heard this movie is based off a true story

I don't know about that. It's interesting because Lakeview Terrace (same writer) was based off a true story and the filmmakers were clearly trying to use that angle again here, but didn't go through it in the end.

"This movie was obviously made to make black women feel better about themselves."

But if that was GENUINELY its "intention", how does having a central female character who does bad, wrong, illegal and rights violating deeds and is essentially a female antagonist go about in helping to accomplish this?

Or do people in general not see the world in black and white terms or more to it - are so used to men being evil and cruel in constant amounts that in a highly ironic way, seeing a woman doing something like this is perversely cathartic to them, I just don't quite understand this to be honest.

Oh sorry, I didn't real "black women" and didn't realize it was in reference to Beyoncé's character.

Then again, this movie wasn't in any particular way too deep or thought provoking in order to seriously inspire me to come to such conclusion either way.
