Anyone else unsatisfied with the abrupt ending? (Spoilers)

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the hell out of this movie, but that ending just had no emotional impact. Vincent arrives at the dress shop and...nothing really happens. It just fades out, there's not even a proper outro...discuss.

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law!

I was fine with it.

The climax is Vera/Vicente killing Robert and Marilla and leaving the house. That's the end of the story. Her returning to her mother's shop and letting people know she's alive (just with a few changes) is more of a postscript.

I love the abrupt ending and thought it was perfect drama. I think it could have actually been more abrupt, and I think that the editor should have done a cut to black, rather than a fade, cause a cut would have been more dramatic to end on, at that moment.

I had tears in my eyes so it had emotional impact for me, I thought that scene was great, a lot was implied in a short time

I don't understand why it is people liked this movie. I didn't know who to root for. Vincente assaulted Robert's daughter and yet we're supposed to root for his escape? And Robert was a psycho too in turning this guy into his wife to sleep with the one who assaulted his daughter? And the murders felt anti-climatic.

The only assault Vincent did was to smack her after biting the fuck out of his hand and not letting go. He didn't rape anyone.

I read the novel and while the screenplay almodovar developed was better I think it would have been better if he had stuck to a few plot lines of the book.
