Will Anyone Believe It?

I remember Kurt Warner's story unfolding, and how often during games a sportscaster would repeat the cliched line, "if you saw it in a movie, you wouldn't believe it." Looks like we'll finally find out if audiences will believe that a 28-year-old former stock boy at an Iowa grocery store could end up as the MVP of the Super Bowl!

reply

Isn't the QB always MVP?

reply

Often, but the hard part is getting to the point where you are the QB of the team that won a Super Bowl. The odds of a 28-year-old grocery store stock boy who had never played an NFL game finding himself hoisting the Lombardi Trophy a few months after joining a team as a backup to the backup to the backup to the backup QB are slim.

reply

True, that. But it is all controlled by the Illuminati, no?

reply

Last I heard it was lizard-faced space aliens, but what do I know?

reply

That is what the Illuminati are. But VERY top secret so don't tell anyone.

reply

Aha, I see. How did you learn this secret information?

reply

It is a truism that the difference between fact and fiction is that fiction has to make sense; that is, be believable.
