WTF?
Just watched the final episode and it left me wondering, what the hell was that all about? Anyone care to explain that mess?
I finished watching it yesterday and was so bored by the end of the series that I didn't really care what happened.
This had such a strong start too, but the kid daughter got on my nerves, "Daddy, I want a glass of water." "But Daddy, I want it now" Well go and get it yourself. Also, when the family are trying to talk in private in the kitchen and she butts in and says, "well I have to get my breakfast.", so they have to stop talking until she has had her breakfast. That was so strange.
SPOILERS ahead!! PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN FINAL EPISODE - Then the other woman (camping lady), also got on my nerves. The woman turns out to be the daughter but grown up, so why all the hate for the family and why get rid of your own father (closing the hole when he is falling through). She would have inherited the land anyways. What was all that about?
Don't even get me started on that weird kiss between her and the guy that loved to sing. YUK!!!
I love slow burners (Better Call Saul, Ozark etc...), but this burned forever with no rewards.

Right, I was going to put that in my OP, but decided to leave out any possible spoilers. Ditto the Tillerson brother digging all those holes looking for the secret and suddenly having hundreds of buffalo coming out of one hole right on top of him. WTF2?
I had this series at around a middle 7 for the first few episodes, but by the time it wrapped up with the shit show of Ep 8, I changed that to a 5, and that's being generous. share
