Am I the only one that thought there was no twin sister?

At the end of the movie, my wife and I both thought that it was Andi all along and she made up the twin story to get Blanc to go along. And that Andi actually survived the murder attempt and set it all up as a ruse to get her revenge.

There were plenty of scenes to suggest such a thing, but it was too vague to be absolutely conclusive.

now that would have been a fine twist.

Yes! I posted this on reddit and because they're a bunch of idiots who love the woke message, they couldn't pretend it was anything but perfect.

It was that moment where Blanc is talking about doubles and looks at her funny, like he's figuring it out. What I thought was that there was a twin but she was the one murdered, she killed her to frame Norton and he found her body but wasn't the killer. Then she comes to the island as herself to kill him, killed Batista by mistake, and when they find her sister's body the police will think it couldn't possibly be her since she's already dead. A good twist, since she's the person we originally thought she was before the twin nonsense is introduced.

But of course a sassy black chick in 2022 couldn't possibly be evil, she has to be nothing less than a genius and it would detract from the woke message. Am I the only one who thought Knives Out was stupid too when they say how 'good hearted' Marta was. She wasn't, she let Plummer/Harlan die to save her own ass! Same here, destroying the Mona Lisa and a man's island in a temper tantrum is not 'virtuous,' she's a petty classless pig.
