Movie was good overall and would have worked even if they had stuck with the her being the shooter. IMO revealing her younger sister was actually the trigger person wasn't needed and was void of any logic. An older sister take the fall for a 5 year old? Why? To possibly never see her again? Sometimes I think these writers try to get too cute for their own good.
shareAnd why not? What is wrong with the older sister wanting the younger sister not suffer trauma? Some people are like that. I loved the plot twist. Did not like the sister never knowing she was responsible, though.
shareI think the purpose of that was so the audience would absolve her of her crimes, and make her a likeable character. Before then, her actions made her to be a reprehensible character. Now, we all like her!
shareIt actually would have made more sense to admit it was the child. She would not have gone to jail for 20 years and the kid could get help.
