Meh. Not as good as reviews made it out to be.

It had a couple of good scenes, but the pacing wasn't good and it really dragged at times. Last half hour was by far the best part. Not one of Scharaders best.

i basically agree. there were definitely things to enjoy in it, but i did think every time that woman was on screen it ground to a halt.

not terrible by any means, but it's definitely a big step down from first reformed. that's a great movie.

I liked the character of Oscar Isaac, but there was no chemistry between him and Tiffany Haddish. I could not feel that. They did not seem like a good match.

agreed.

I had to come here and see if anyone was saying the same thing about Tiffany. She wasn't very good in this at all. The movie went flat anytime she was on the screen. Bizarre movie that took too long to get where it was going.

first reformed was oddball bs & this, this wasn't bad because of Haddish it was bad because it was odderball bs

I think that Schrader gets great reviews because his movies are different. That's about it. They have good ideas, but after that, they don't go anywhere useful.
