Disnification of Marvel... This is a Disney Channel Sitcom

It is very clear from Thor Love and Thunder that they are targeting a different much younger audience. How else can you justify putting untrained civilian teenagers up against genocidal maniacs that are supposed to be universe-level threats? Well, it works when kids with no combat experience can square up against elite level warriors, and toddlers can take down demi-gods. Soon the MCU will be closer to G rated than PG-13.

A sobering reminder this these stories aren't real... obviously. But it was nice when there was at least enough there for you to feel a sense of danger.

Well Kang beat the shit out of Scott and would have killed him if Hope hadn’t come back to help.

Agreed it didn’t need Cassie trying to be a hero in this film though, just leave the fighting to the ones that have combat training.
