Turned out to be incredibly corny (spoilers)

-The people in this show, teens and adults, were better detectives than the suck-ssA detective. All he was good for was giving out personal information and letting them do the work.

-The desperate need to make so many twist to point blame just made the entire cast come off as a bunch of immoral idiots. Nick engages with women on dating sites, Sophie has an affair, Matt blackmails young volleyball girls, Simon is a kidnapper (and seems to have an "unusual" bond with his sister), Emma is a whack-job who makes up meeting Nick, & Dawn steals identities. It's too much.

-Nick, who is messing with some woman on a website, actually leaves his unlocked phone with a total stranger to download into a computer? (The stupidity is thick)

-Nick escapes and goes right to Dawn's house? And he know where she lives?

-We're suppose to believe that these women are this desperate for attention and affection from a man they've never met.

-I would've grudgingly accepted anyone killing Nick other than who actually did it. Dawn pretending to be a secret lover to other women was the most ludicrous thing in the show. And then her husband kills over it? Sure. Whatever.

-What is Dawn doing with voice-altering technology. I seriously doubt anyone her age, living her type of life, would have anything like that. And how many women her age do you know that are as savvy as her with a computer.

The show started of interesting enough, but the last episode just fell off the rails and became too unbelievable. Everything about it was corny and cheesy.

Not disagreeing with most of your comments above. I enjoyed the show for what it was, but definitely had questionable decision making from the characters through-out.

With that stated, Nick was not messaging women on dating sites after being in a relationship. It was stated he set up his dating profile 6 months before meeting his wife. That's why when Dawn started "catfishing", the lady she messaged first has not heard from Nick in a while.

I missed that. Thanks for the clarification.

Not a problem, it was almost a quick throwaway line in the middle of a conversation. I’m honestly forgetting who said it even, I think it was between Sophie and Pia.

No. Nick and his wife had been together for years. They had teenage kids and she'd never been with another man until she cheated. He set up the online dating profile in 2018, but his heart wasn't in it and he didn't take things any further than chatting with that artist.

Thanks for the update, doesn't change the reality of what happened at least and makes sense that way.

Yeah the first 3 episodes were great. After that it was a grind. And then the finale was stupid beyond belief

Op complains about the stupidity of characters but your observations on Nick were wrong. Need to pay attention more before you start calling shots out. Seem like a moron this way. But to each their own.

The people making observations about Nick are up there a bit, wasnt me. You need to pay attention more before you start calling shots out. Seem like a moron this way. But to each their own.
