I actually quite enjoyed it! Went in with very low expectations and had just finished The Idol, which is definitely one of the worst series I've ever seen. Her character in Poker Face was inspired by Peter Falk's Columbo. That's why she speaks that way. It's mostly set in the 70s. The murder took place in 1980 and they go back 2 years to the start of the affair. The actors playing this couple are together in real life, so the looks argument doesn't work for those saying she could only have married him for money. I think she was lonely and sad after her alcoholic husband died, and George showed her kindness that led to love. "The left doesn't do comedy well" Huh? Please share a list of all the well known hilarious comedies made by, and comedians who are, right wing conservatives. I'll wait... After watching this movie I watched the series, and agree it was fantastic. Much better story as told over a series. No. Nick and his wife had been together for years. They had teenage kids and she'd never been with another man until she cheated. He set up the online dating profile in 2018, but his heart wasn't in it and he didn't take things any further than chatting with that artist. That's what I thought too, and agree it would have been a better choice! "twice his age" hahaha she wasn't 90 ffs! He could know her address from dropping her home after work once. They were supposed to be close with him sharing all his woes with her. It was still silly that he went there straight away, that's true! I've only watched up to episode 2 so far but I assume the NDA prevented Isaac from disclosing the abuse to a therapist, as they would have mandatory reporting requirements. If I were in these parents' position I would have used 1 million pounds of the compensation money to pay a professional to end Jotham's life. View all replies >
