Yes Man says YES to stereotypes. Shame on Jim Carrey.

As a Canadian and part of a very multicultural society, Jim Carrey should be ashamed of himself for going along with a ridiculous portrayal of Iranian women in this film. Persian mail-order brides? The racism in this movie is ridiculous.

I once saw a tv program here in Chile about people who found Russian wives online. It's not like you buy them, it're more than they come to the country and marry you.

Of course, these women are not crazy about Chilean men, or American men in the case of the movie, but it's just that they are sick of their countries and they want a chance to get out.

So this thing is actually very real. People like you are the worst. I can imagine you looking for racism in everything. And it's not like the character was an offensive portray of an Irnian woman anyway. She was just wearing traditional clothing, nothing else.

The international internet matchmaking service and Persian bride depicted in this movie was meant as a PARODY of such services. This movie is a comedy, and virtually every comedy film will have some kind of parody in it.

You freaks are doing your damnedest to destroy comedy aren't you?
It is comedy, it is jokes, it is light humor.
You freaks keep acting as if there are all of the taboos that can't be joked about. False. People with senses of humor can joke about anything and get on with their lives.....only uptight miserable pricks take everything so damn seriously they can can't relax and have fun with anything.

I'm sure all the people from Iran will live. This movie didn't ruin anyone's life.....except maybe yours.
