Did young Mack ... (possible spoiler) View all posts >

McDonald's becoming so corporate is probably the reason behind that. When firms become so large, often it's for the worse. I tend to think that Kroc was simply kissing the a** of Dick McD. Not surprising given what a manipulator Ray was. Kennedy would likely be considered Republican in today's America. I'm proud of Mac for killing that POS father of his. He should've been given Nobel Prize for it. Abusive parents deserve the WORST. That line was meant to be COMICAL, which it was. Why does everything have to be taken so seriously? I found this movie to be mediocre, but I at least derived a little pleasure in watching it. An opinion is like an a**, everyone's got one. When I watched this movie recently, my first impression was that the woman/turtle was a female supernatural being, such as a guardian angel or deity, whose purpose was to comfort and aid people who became marooned. Also, maybe the reason why she obstructed his attempts to leave the island was because she knew he wouldn't make it to a friendly ship or inhabited land. That obscenely lengthy "musical" in the traffic jam in the opening scene turned me off BADLY. I watched the next several scenes, only to feel that it was lame, so I turned it off and placed the DVD back in it's sleeve for return (I'm a DVD.com/Netflix subscriber.) The very lame opening scene virtually turned me off from the rest of the whole movie. I mean FOR REAL. That's still better than what Mike Tyson did in 1997. For real. I somewhat agree about the title but there's more to this movie than its unusual choice of name. View all replies >
