For me it looks OK film and I have seen lot of movies. It has a 70 mil. budget and usually half of the budget goes for marketing the film so here we come to 35 mil. insted of 70 mil. And for me it looks pretty neat for that budget.

I only seen like 10 seconds of the trailer and read the paragraph about it on imdb on what the movie is about.
If this movie is not like disneys hurcules then it will suck and no one will like it. Is there greek gods in this? Also if this movie isnt basically hurcules doing everything man of steel does but minus the flying then this will suck really really bad.
A hercules movie I want to see gods, titans, and hercules doing man of steel type strength feats and jumps. so combine man of steel and john carter and thats what hurcules sould be doing physically and jumping wise and look like.
Hercules as a gladiator? That right there shows the makers have no imagination or respect for the source material. The movies have already shamed the name of Spartacus and played comic book with King Leonidas, so I guess it's Hercule's turn (as if the guy hasn't been tarnished enough by Hollywood. This will be the de-pantsing of the hero for a new generation).

Sheesh, I thought it might have something redeeming about it, but it seems to be too dull to even have fun laughing at. And I take back my defense of Harlin. Apparently he is a hack.

because the trailer made it look like a terrible movie and it's getting bad reviews. Like others have said, I haven't been this sure I didn't want to see a movie in a long time, and it's even one of my favorite types of movies. If I start hearing otherwise I'll see it. a good budget isn't guaranteed to fix bad writing, acting etc. either.

I saw it. It is horrible! Cheap sets, nasty effects and the acting is just... bleah! The only reason they cast Lutz it's because of Twilight. They knew he would bring 15 year-old silly girls to the cinema who pay good money just to drool over his six-pack and don't care how bad an actor he is.

They hate it because the main actor is someone who had a bit part in the stupid "Twilight" movies. Really stupid reason, right? Well..people are generally stupid i guess. I saw LOH in the theater, and I loved it; i thought it was awesome. I want to see it again on the big screen before it is gone.

Actually it's up to 4.3 already. When it is released on dvd/bluray the rating will probably go up to 6.0, which is what always happens when movies like this get slammed before anyone actually sees them. And the problem here is that NOBODY has seen this movie yet..but they will later.

Actually the stated budget almost never includes marketing costs. Boxoffice.com estimates production + marketing to be more like $80 million
It isn't unheard of for studios to exaggerate production budgets but that's usually for really high budgets or really low. $70m is right in the middle so there's no point in exaggerating .
And seeing as it's only grossed less than $40 million world wide I guess it's likely that a lot of people haven't seen it yet.
