Most of her impulsive decisions in the film involved drinking - dancing with Aksels friends resulting in an accidental head injury, crashing a wedding and peeing with a stranger etc.
Also her father had pain killer issues.
Just an observation….

They drink a lot in France. They make wine there.

This film, however, is Norwegian.

An impulsive person, I think, drink being a component.
