Scene where you cracked up the most

I burst into laughter many times while watching this film...But the scene that sent me falling off the chair was the one where his wife walks up to him and tells him she wants a divorce...The conversation and also his reaction as well as his expressions....Brilliant, just brilliant...

reply

"Look at the parking lot!" That's my favourite line.

reply

“Look at that parking lot, Larry.
Just look at it...”

Hah Same here.

reply

*bang* "There's another jew son" lmao!

"I'm f'ing busy-or vice versa" -Dorothy Parker

reply

"Dad, will you fix the aerial? F-troop is fuzzy!"

reply

My biggest laugh was for sure - "Just look at that parking lot." When Rabbi Scott said it the last time. The close up on his face. hahaha!

reply

SO so so many. There are about 6 or 7 'correct answers'. However, if it were brilliantly picked apart, "F-Troop is fuzzy would make the top 3, IMHO"

Oh I did love this movie, even more so the 4th time.

reply

It totally makes me want to watch F-Troop.

reply

Mine has to be the scene during the bar mitzvah, whilst everyone is singing their hymns and reverand is trying to pick up the torah which is very heavy and says "Jesus Christ"!

Amazing!

reply

HAHAHAH!!! Yes, I forgot about the "Jesus Christ" scene!! That was great!

reply

The best was definitely that one.

reply

Danny’s reaction was brilliant too.

reply

The scene where he's explaining Schrodinger's Cat....and the camera pans back showing him standing in front of a massive blackboard filled with equations and simply says something like: "So as you can see....we can never be certain about anything."

Hysterical!

I also really loved the scene when she tells him she wants a divorce.

"If I don't have a get, I become an agunah."
"A what? What are you talking about?"

Also, any scene with Sy Ableman was great.

reply

The credits:

"No jews were harmed in the making of this film"

reply

"I'll be out in a minute!" - I know it's silly, but it kept making me laugh the more absurd the situation.

---

He left a note. He left a simple little note that said "I've gone out the window."

reply

*Spoilers, obviously*

When Sy Ableman explains to Larry that he wants him to move out of his own house. You know, it's for the best for everyone.

reply

this.

"Well, for instance, the Jolly Roger is quite livable. Not expensive, and the rooms are eminently habitable."

"Larry, Larry, Larry. I think, really, the Jolly Roger is the appropriate course of action. It has a pool."

reply

I laugh every time the son's friend says *beep* He says it with such gusto, and so often, that it becomes hysterical to me...

reply

The dream sequence of the cousin going to canada and getting shot by the neighbors. "Another jew over there!" I was totally confused and thrown off by it.

The end of the world doesn't seem so bad now that you're here.
