I love zombie stuff but had no idea this even existed.

I couldn't get past the first 20m of the first episode before I gave up.
Christ, I tried to watch a few more but it's just utterly abysmal.
shareWell, if you're like me and you are interested in all things Civic Republic Military, then this is definitely the show to get more information on it. Every CRM scene is top notch and presents the best of the Walking Dead universe.
All the other scenes though.... lackluster compared to Seasons 1-3 of the original Walking Dead, the first 3 episodes of FEAR - The Walking Dead, and perhaps on par with the endless walking in the woods and "look at the flowers" episodes of the later half of Season 4 of the Walking Dead.
Imagine the waking dead if it were on the CW and you'll get an idea.I subjected myself to 3 or 4 episodes before i ditched this crap.
