Coming out in 2 months, but just about zero anticipation

12 days since the last post here, as of posting this topic. No one seems to care.

I have to LOL at that. It's been looking like another big flop ever since it was announced. Trailers look absolutely awful.

Wonder Woman can't even save this.

Test screenings aren't too bad. Either it's fine, epic, good, etc. Nothing bad thus far. Yeah I know BVS was the same so I'm still cautious.

reply

The trailer looks amazing.

I've gotten into the habit of avoiding trailers for movies that I know I want to see, just in case all the best stuff was in the trailer or in case they decide to reshoot half the movie like they did with Rogue One, where the trailer didn't really match the final cut.

I hated BvS but liked Man of Steel and loved WW, so overall I'm looking forward to Justice League.

reply

I don't have that much willpower for a movie like this lol.

But have you seen the Ultimate Edition of BvS?

reply

Yes, I actually bought it because I had heard it was the better version by far and because I really wanted to like this movie. Didn't help.

reply

What didn't you like about it, too dark?

reply

"too dark?"

hahaha. good one.

reply

That was the top complaint, and it was very dark.

reply

by whom? dark was the least of it's problems.

I didn’t at all buy Batman’s motivation to basically execute Superman, so the whole premise didn’t work for me. Jesse Einsenberg was cringy bad as Lex. Painting Superman as a bad guy because he saved Lois from the terrorists made no sense. I also pretty much hated the final videogame battle with Doomsday.

All that said, I liked the actors. I thought Affleck and Cavill did the best they could with a weak story. So I think there is hope for Justice League.

Nobody who's seen "Suicide Squad" could feel much anticipation for another DC group film.
